PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Leafless in MayOver the last two decades, interest in Aspen has been steadily gathering momentum in Scotland.  We are discovering Aspen's importance for biodiversity, and many foresters are keen to explore its potential in commercial forests.

A number of field surveys, research projects and conferences have helped improve our understanding of Aspen. Several nurseries are now propagating local origin Aspen.
